Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman holds an Honorary Chair in Psychology at the University of California Davis and is Director of the Center for Public Policy Research. She was widely credited with establishing the current study of memory recall by eyewitnesses, and children as witnesses. The number of publications by Professor Goodman is extensive and she has been awarded numerous grants and has been the recipient of many honors international and national levels. She has worked with many organisations and governments across the world on studies and policy issues pertaining to child people who are victims of the law. She is also a consulting for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) and is a part of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She has memberships with numerous professional organizations, like the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She was a founder member of the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research into Child Development, and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the President of the American Psychological Association Divisions for Child and Family Policy as well as Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
